Kenosha Pack 506 is open to both boys and girls from across Kenosha, ages kindergarten through 5th grade. Everyone is welcome, regardless of race, gender, religious background, and more.
You can visit before you register! Come check out a couple meetings before you officially register. (After a certain number of meetings, it’s not fun unless you’re officially registered).
Registration Pointers
- Please note that this takes you to My.Scouting.org, which is an official Boy Scouts of America website.
- You’ll need to create a log-in, which you’ll frequently use for other scouting stuff, not just registration.
- You’ll register your child first and then they’ll ask you as the parent to register. It’s a safety thing, to run background checks etc on adults who spend significant time around our kids.
- If you have any trouble registering online, feel free to reach out to Brendan and he’ll try to help troubleshoot with you (or at least point you in the right direction). webmaster@kenoshapack506.org or 224.430.6901.
Costs: What to expect
- Depending on your child’s grade level and how gung-ho you want to go, the uniform & books will run about $75 to $150-ish. You can purchase these at the scout store.
- Registration fees for the various levels of scouting ends up to be about $99 for the year, which is a GREAT deal for everything you’re getting with scouting.
- There are sometimes arts and crafts projects or other activities that may incur minor expenses, but typically, these activities are designed so you can use stuff you have around the house.
